Our director, founder and principal architect, Geoffrey Middleton, is an RIBA chartered architect with over thirty years experience in the industry. Our diverse team includes a chartered landscape architect as well as up-and- coming architects in training. Our Services – Overview

We undertake architectural services on a wide variety of projects, mainly in Leicestershire and the surrounding counties including Rutland, Northamptonshire, Lincolnshire, Nottinghamshire, Derbyshire and Warwickshire, ranging from small to medium-sized house extensions or new build houses for private clients through to work for organisations such as charities, developers and local businesses. We provide a full or part architectural service based on the RIBA plan of work, which is recognised across the industry and has been refined and developed over the last eighty years.We have specialist knowledge and experience of the renovation and restoration of old and historic buildings, many listed and in conservation areas. We are skilled at accommodating the needs of present day users within the constraints of the historic fabric whilst complying with current standards, guidelines and good practice. We sensitively design complementary, sometimes contemporary, extensions or interventions which enhance the buildings.

We have an excellent track record in successfully obtaining planning permissions on all types of project, obtaining listed building and conservation area consents also building regulations approvals, working with planning, historic and structural consultants when necessary.

We guide our clients through each stage of their project; our work ethic and commitment to all projects we undertake, small or large, helps to ensure client satisfaction from design and pricing through to build and completion.

We usually provide full or part architectural services based on the Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA) traditional plan of work which is recognised across the industry. We are happy to give advice on your project, planning issues, permissions that may be required, listed buildings and many other issues. We are associated with other specialists who can provide advice and input where necessary on planning, conservation, landscape, arboriculture, engineering and drainage.

We offer a free, no obligation initial meeting with you at your property or at our offices. During this meeting we can discuss your requirements, explain the design and building process and what we can do for you, advise on any permissions you may need, possible budget costs and likely timescales required, as well as your responsibilities as client under the Construction, Design and Management Regulations (CDM) of 2015.
