If you are planning an alteration, extension, conversion or new build, Highplans are experts in dealing with your project. Advising and guiding you on all you need to do to bring your ideas to life, carrying out all the work required to get your project off the ground.

We will listen to exactly what you need for your project and will get your initial ideas to you in a very clear and easy to follow format. Then on your behalf will deal with all the required applications and paperwork for Planning Permission, Building Warrant, advise on local builders and professionals to finally your project being built successfully and hassle free.

Highplans is a small Inverness based company run by Martin Patience. With over 20 Years local experience in the Highlands area working in Architecture, you will receive a professional, friendly and personal service along with prompt replies to all your queries.

Martin will look at any scale of project with the same level of service, from just adding a patio door - right through to new dwellings, blocks of dwellings and commercial developments, all will be dealt with professionally and promptly. Full indemnity insurance up to £2,000,000 is carried and maintained.

There is no charge to contact for advice on your initial ideas or for a meeting to discuss the project, so please do not hesitate to make an enquiry - it is not going to going to cost anything at all to discuss and advise on the proposals.

We can discuss your job and initially you can recieve an estimated guide cost based on your first description of the work required - with a firm and mutually agreed price on the project being made prior to any work starting.

There is currently no requirement for any VAT to be added to any of the fees from Highplans. The fee you are quoted from Highplans is the fee you will pay, with no hidden charges.

When are fees paid?
You will have separate arrangements with other professionals involved, Highplans will usually ask for 50% of Fees to be paid at Planning Application stage, then 50% at Building Warrant appliaction Stage but this is negotiable if required.
