All the home-owners listed have been spoken to on the telephone and have said that they’re looking for quotes for the job listed and have given permission for up to 3 companies to contact them.

We put leads on the jobs board as soon as they are qualified. We keep them up there for as long as the job is quotable. Most of our clients have recently made the enquiry or have just submitted a planning / building regulations application, so they are at a very early stage in the quote process. We advise that as soon as you see a job that your interested in that you purchase the lead and contact the home-owner. A job that is available today is gone tomorrow.

Other companies charge up to £60 for a job lead. Our lead service is extremely streamlined, simple and largely automated. We try to keep all contact with businesses to email so we don’t have to employ someone to answer the telephone. This is then reflected in the price of our job leads.

If the client has found someone else for the job or decided against having the work done then please contact us for a credit refund. We will contact the client to confirm this and then issue a credit refund to the account. Please allow us a few days to contact the client as they may not be instantly available.

Please message us at by using the contact form and tell us the reason for the lead return. We will call the home-owner to investigate and issue you and refund credits to the account to the value of the credits of the lead. Please allow a few days for us to get hold of the home-owner, as they might not be instantly available.

Maybe try calling again at a different time. Every lead contains a number we have managed to call and speak to that home-owner on. If you can’t get an answer then maybe you just need to call at a different time of the day. Or on a different day. Try calling from a different number maybe, or make sure you’re not withholding Caller-id. Emailing or texting the customer beforehand and telling them they can expect your call might also help. Incidentally, the number one complaint from home-owners is companies not trying hard enough to make contact.

If you can’t get hold of the home-owner after 7 days then please contact us for a credit refund. We will then investigate and try to get hold of the home-owner. If we do manage to get hold of the home-owner then we will not issue a credit to the account.

There are things you can do to reduce this. Try calling the day before an appointment to confirm. Maybe send an SMS or email to remind the home-owner. Also double-check the address! It’s not unheard of for people to knock on the wrong door while the customer waits in somewhere else.

It’s annoying, but it happens. People change their mind. People sometimes might just not like the sound of your voice. Who Knows. All these Leads are, are names and addresses and phone numbers of people who have told us they’d like companies to call them to arrange quotations. We will call the home-owner to investigate the lead and then issue you with credits to your account. Please allow a few days for us to get hold of the home-owner, as they might not be instantly available.

It shouldn’t happen that often, as the details on the lead are firstly provided by the home-owner, and then discussed on the telephone. Obviously if there are huge discrepancies, let us know! But as with all leads, customers can lie, change their mind, or mysteriously ‘remember’ something they forgot to tell anyone else about. The notes are there to help but they are only part of the picture. Please remember that the common thread is that these are customers who have provided us permission to ask you to call them about the product listed.

Not a lot. All we can promise is that this is someone who told us very recently that they want to get quotes. They may well have been quoted by someone else and bought from them within the 24 hours before you purchased the lead. Please contact us using the contact form for a credit refund. We will call the home-owner to investigate the lead and then issue you with credits to your account. Please allow a few days for us to get hold of the home-owner, as they might not be instantly available.

We rely on a little bit of trust. If a business comes back to us for a credit refund then we will investigate the lead. If we suspect that the work is carried out by one of our members or that they have quoted and are “trying it on” for a refund, then we reserve the right to cancel the account and keep the remainder of the credit balance.

We understand that if you pay for a job lead and the client goes elsewhere, it can be frustrating. Especially if you have met the client on site, spent an evening preparing a quote. Only then to find you’ve lost the job to a competitor. This does not mean that a business should then come back to us in an attempt to get a refund for the job lead.

We advise that you should take the long term view that although you have lost this job, a new job that you will win is only a matter of time away. This is how you should look at the buying of job leads. You will purchase job leads and a certain amount of them will be “winners” and bring work in. We advise that you set a budget that you can afford and be prepared that not every quote will be a guaranteed job. If we could provide guaranteed work, then each lead would cost 20 times the amount and I would currently be living in a yacht in the Bahamas.

We are an internet based business. We try to keep all of our correspondence by email. This way all contact is written down and can easily be read in the future. We try to keep our overheads as low as possible by not employing people to answer the telephone for enquires. The savings we make from this enable us to keep the our job lead prices low.

If you have any questions that you need answering then please use the contact form and we will email you back as soon as we can.
